Fred Conacher senior, one of our long time members has passed away. He was an active member for many years and only ceased hillwalking due to knee surgery. He served for many years on the club’s committee and much enjoyed the social life. In particular he will be remembered for his excellent gluvine making skills at the Christmas meets. His exploits on Skye and recovery in hospital have gone down in club legend. He is sadly missed by all who know him.
