Just a wee reminder to those of you going on the February weekend meet about a couple of things. Firstly bedding is provided, but not towels or tea towels, so don’t forget to bring them. The duvets are a bit thin, and no extra blankets are provided, so if you’re prone to cold feet, you might want to bring your hot water bottle (I will be, but I’m shameless in that respect). Also you might like to bring your swim suit so you can have a swim in the Pool, the hours will be restricted, but it will be open. Of course, one of the good things about this weekend is, if you don’t have to go to work on Monday, you can stay on Sunday night at no extra cost (but please be ready to leave at 10 am on Monday). There is no Communal Meal this Chalet weekend, so don’t forget your Dinner (or your toothbrush).
If you’re not going and have FOMO*, there are still some spaces left if you fancy joining the fun J if not, I hope to see you on the March Meet.
Speaking of which….. a heads up for the March Weekend Meet- this will be 3rd – 5th March to Aite Cruinnichidh Bunkhouse at Roy Bridge, which has its’ own (coin operated) Sauna! The deposit Cheques have been sent off for the rest of this year’s meets and as soon as I have conformation of the bookings, I will be sending out the list of Weekend Meets for this year.
See you soon,
Your Meets Secretary a-go-go
